Two ex-special operations guys armed with MBAs seek out people leading lives less ordinary, in order to find out how they fill their ‘unforgiving minutes’, and what helps them go, always, a little further. Like intellectual bowerbirds, we collect shiny little objects of knowledge that will help build better humans. Co-hosted by Ben Pronk and Tim Curtis.

Amazing I can remember the first bloke that hugged me . I had never hugged a male at 48 yrs old not my father, brothers or male freinds and would not believe I could tell another bloke I love you. Circa Mar 2007 Dubai DBX and yes Tuff Tim C it was you. Hilarious it was like turning a switch, you picked Fenno and myself up at the airport and gave me a bear hug, I was absolutely taken back with this warm and fuzzy, fluffy emotion, my arms were limp and you must have noticed my repulsive response. But at that moment the flick was switched and on return to OZ 5 days later my son picked me up and boom! I hugged him. He looked a bit strange at me as did michele my wife thinking where is Steve and who is this bloke? Subsequently I hug all mates who I have not seen for a while and some new buddies as well. Amazingly it does make me feel better and my family and freinds find me a better person. I do believe stoicism is not contagious mindfulness is.
